One of our MI8 is also at work in South East Asia, where the jobsite is focused on the realization of water wells by mud and air for the local water supply network.
This rig is the perfect example of why versatility is such an important feature: it can drill up to 300 meters both using direct circulation by mud (with the help of the duplex pump on board) and by air compressor with down the hole hammer. In this case, the MI8 can be connected to a separated air compressor and the drilling operation can be optimized that’s to the lubricator, the foam pump and the dust protector mounted on board.
Reliable, powerful and compact, this MI8 has been designed to ensure the best visibility of the hole thanks to a set of hydraulic controls placed on a swivelling arm.
