Drilling Rig MI8 for mineral research by diamond core drilling
The MI8 model is the new born of the Massenza range.
This drilling rig with 8,000 kg of pull fits between the models M.I.6 (6 tons of shooting) and M.I.9 (9 tons). The shot is by means of a hydraulic cylinder placed inside the drilling tower. As usual, the Massenza is sensitive to the demands of the market and in fact the MI8 was born from the particular need of one of our customers who wanted a very fast car. The hydraulic cylinder allows a rising speed of the ascending head of 45 m / min.
This drill rig mounts a rotary head that allows it to rotate even at 1200 rpm and load the rods by means of an arm positioned at the front of the head itself, all controlled by a remote control that greatly simplifies the operator's work. Being the machine equipped with a wire-line winch with the extraction of the carrots of soil are even faster and simpler than in the past.
