We are proud to have participated in this very important humanitarian project in Ethiopia.
Thanks to the collaboration of Viva con Agua and Welthungerhilfe with the Ethiopian partner ORDA (Organization for the rehabilitation and development of Amhara), a new MI20 Massenza for water wells will work in the East Gojam area of the regional state of Amhara and will give its contribution to poverty reduction and sustainable development for 280,000 children, women and men.
This MI20, mounted on an Astra / Iveco 6x6 truck and with a 20-ton pulling capacity, can work in any type of terrain and drill water wells over 400 depth.
Mounted on board, in fact, there are a 313 HP diesel engine, for the drilling machine and the PM200 7 "1/2 x 8" Massenza mud pump, and a 510 HP diesel engine for the Atlas Cocpo ORV12 compressor.
The work of the London artist David Shillinglaw, who has painted it with bright colors, rainbows, eyes and faces to remind us that WATER IS LIFE, makes this drill even more special.
