Our MI20 drilling rig, the unparalled protagonist of a complex intervention in South East Asia
So powerful and yet so agile, this machine has been mounted on a 6x4 truck to drill water wells for agriculture in rural areas. Due to the variability of soil types of the region, both rocky and soft, the drilling operations were carried with direct circulation by air and by mud.
This MI20 has drilled up to 500 m deep with a 12” diameter and 6 m rods and 4-1/2” diameter!
How did it achieve such great results?
Well, that’s because it has been equipped with a full set of incredible features: duplex 5-1/2” x 8” mud pump with 1200 l/min flow rate, a separate 35 bar compressor mounted on truck and an automatic rod charging system.
Operation completed, customer satisfied and mission accomplished!
